INFRASTRUCTURE

The infrastructure facilities and faculty support is available for the students from 6.00 a.m. to 8.30 p.m. on working days. Week end and Holiday sessions are also arranged in the labs as per the requirements of the syllabus and the needs of the students.

HOSTEL

Separate hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls. The mess is run on the basis of dividing system by the committee of students. A well disciplined and conducive atmosphere is maintained for studying and enjoying the extra-curricular activities at the hostel.

LIBRARY

A well furnished library is functioning with an impressive collection of a wide variety of specialized books in every branch of Textile, Computer and Information Technology, Electrical & Electronics Engineering. Our library has more than 20300 Indian & foreign books and regularly subscribes to all popular journals and periodicals of academic value. About 2361 back volumes of periodicals and 1373 project reports collected since 1980 are available for reference. Electronic Media resources like Video Cassettes, CDs, Internet facility and computerized data base are also available.

Our library has been shifted to a new spacious hall with ample reading facility on 11/07/2007. High tech Bar - Coding System has been introduced for Book issue and return.

COMMUNICATION LAB

Communication Laboratory sponsored under World Bank Scheme offers effective training for developing skills in communication and Spoken English with latest audio visual equipments and practical approach.

BUS FACILITY

The institute operates its own buses for the benefit of the students and staff for their daily conveyance and industrial visits. The buses are run from polytechnic to Bhavani, Erode, Kavindapadi and Salem.

CO-OPERATIVE STORES

The co-operative store is catering to the students and staff to meet their day to day needs of stationery, cosmetics, refreshments, etc. The stores also facilitate the publication of text books and support materials by our staff authors. STD, Xerox & Lamination facilities are also provided.

LEARNING RESOURCE CENTER

An exclusive Audio Visual section is developed with Multi-Media, Video Projectors, Over Head Projectors, TV and VCR to enhance the quality of teaching and instructional delivery.
