The main objective is to ascertain the department as a prominent academic centre to provide to the needs of the student community for the development of our Nation. Towards fulfilling the objective over the years, the department has created excellent infrastructure, laboratories, and workshops, with dedicated team of faculty.  Our students are getting practical training from the following laboratories & Workshop  - CAD Laboratory, CNC Laboratory, Hydraulics Laboratory, Metrology Laboratory, Heat Power Laboratory, Strength of Materials Laboratory, Lathe, Special Machines, Fitting, Foundry, Welding, Sheet Metal and Wiring.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

The department offers a Diploma programme in Mechanical Engineering with sanctioned intake of 60 students. The department has separate block which includes state-of-the-art laboratories, CAD centre with advanced software and department library. It is a challenging, rewarding and highly respected profession, supporting through its commitment to excellence by experienced faculty members having Master degree. Students are encouraged & motivated to take part in the technical and research presentations at conferences and symposium. An interactive relationship is maintained between the students and staff which enable the students to develop a sound foundation in the stream in a conductive environment.
